高野夕輝 Takano Yuki

北海道生まれ。

十勝にて畜産学を学ぶ。

大阪を拠点に現代美術作品のファブリケイターとして活動した後、

家具製作を行う。

2012年に北海道十勝に移住。

現在は木彫りを中心に活動。

高野佳子　Takano Keiko

兵庫県生まれ。

京都にて空間デザインを学ぶ。

神戸にて店舗デザインを行う会社に勤務した後、

大阪にて店舗や住宅のインテリアデザインなどを行う。

その後、彫金を学ぶ。

2011年〜2012年京都造形芸術大学非常勤講師

2012年に北海道十勝に移住。

現在は結婚指環を製作を行っている。

Born in Hokkaido and majored in animal husbandry at a university there
Fabricator of modern artwork
2005 to 2012: Produced modern artwork and furniture at a design group “graf ” in Osaka

Keiko Takano
Born in Hyogo
Majored in space design at a university in Kyoto
Interior designing for shops at a designing company in Kobe.
2009 to 2012: Interior designing for shops and houses at a design group “graf ” in Osaka
Studied metal carving
2011 to 2012: Part-time lecturer at Kyoto University of Art and Design

Both moved to Hokkaido in 2012

I live in “Hokkaido”, the northern most major island of Japan,
creating sculptures.

Hokkaido is a little different in weather,
climate and culture from theother parts of Japan.
Its scenery would remind you of the country side of Germany or Switzerland.
A photographer once said that Hokkaido is situated
at the southern most of the region where
Alaskan and Siberian hunting people used to live rather than
at the northern most of Japan.

Japanese people have believed every single thingin nature has a
divinity since ancient times.
I imagine you would feel the presence of the divinities profoundly in Hokkaido.

I was born and raised here, seeing a cloud floating in the light blue sky,
trees with white bark and insects wiggling under neath the fallen leaves.

“Wood shold be sort of flowers of light,” said Wright.

Well, I am going to spend my life admiring flowers of light.
